Delta Receipt: Find Flight, Baggage, and Past Records

To get a Delta receipt, start with My Trips for a recent flight. For older purchases, sign in to My Receipts. If a travel agent sold the ticket, ask that agent for the copy. A flight receipt and a bag receipt may be different records, so check which charge you need.

You do not have to search every travel email at once. First, match the date and type of charge. Then use the right route below.

Guide by BuildReceipts. Sources checked September 22, 2026. We are not part of Delta. We cannot search its bookings. This guide uses public help pages. We did not test these steps in a traveler's account.

Which Delta receipt do you need?

A boarding pass helps you board a flight. It is not the same as a paid ticket record. A trip plan may show where you will fly without showing what you paid.

For a work claim, check your name, travel date, route, and ticket number. Check the amount and currency too. Ask your work team what it needs. One file may not cover the flight, bags, and each extra.

Three Delta receipt routes: My Trips, My Receipts, or the agent that sold the ticket.

How to get a recent flight receipt

Delta's past-travel help page gives this route for the first 24 hours after your last flight.

Step 1: Open My Trips

Go to Delta My Trips. You can use a computer or a phone browser.

Step 2: Find the booking

Enter your first name, last name, and confirmation number. Use the name on the booking email. Check for typos, then search.

Step 3: Open Payment Details

Find Payment Details and choose Email Receipt. If that choice is not shown, try the older-purchase route below.

Step 4: Check your inbox

Send the receipt to your email. Check the trip and amount before you save it.

How to find older ticket and baggage receipts

Delta says My Receipts can show ticket, bag, and other purchases made through delta.com from the past 24 months. This route needs a Delta account.

  1. Step 1: Open the My Receipts link from Delta's help page.
  2. Step 2: Sign in to your account.
  3. Step 3: Find the purchase that matches the charge.
  4. Step 4: Open the record and keep a clear copy.

That does not mean every charge will be there. If one is missing, note the date, seller, and charge type. Then ask for help. For a flight with another carrier, use the American Airlines receipt guide instead.

What if you have no login or ticket number?

For past travel outside the recent-flight route, Delta lists [email protected] for ticket and bag copy requests. The passenger or cardholder must send the request. Include the passenger name, ticket number, and card type, never the full card number.

No ticket number? Give the travel date and origin airport instead. If an agent or booking site sold the ticket, ask it for the copy.

Use this short message as a starting point. Fill in only the details you know:

Please help me find my ticket or baggage receipt. Passenger: [name]. Travel date: [date]. Origin: [airport]. Ticket number, if known: [number]. Payment type: [card brand or cash]. I am the passenger or cardholder. The record I need is [flight or baggage]. Thank you.

Keep the reply with your lost-receipt records. Do not post booking codes, ticket numbers, or payment details in public comments.

Check each charge before you file an expense

Here is a made-up example, not a real booking or a list of Delta fees. A flight costs $320. A bag costs $35. Wi-Fi costs $10. The total is $365. The flight receipt alone explains just $320.

Illustrative travel check: a $320 flight, $35 bag, and $10 Wi-Fi total $365 across three records.

RecordWhat to matchWhat to avoid
Flight ticketName, route, date, and paid amountUsing only a boarding pass
Bag or seat chargeThe fee record and its paymentCounting a fee twice if it is already in the total
Wi-Fi or other purchaseThe seller and its receiptAssuming all extras appear on the ticket
Refund or creditThe refund record and related chargeChanging the old receipt to hide a refund

For a paid Wi-Fi pass, Delta says the receipt goes to the email given at purchase. Its Wi-Fi help page routes support based on whether Delta or Wi-Fi Onboard sent the receipt. Check that sender first.

Need a record for food, drinks, or a lounge? Ask the seller through its official help page. Keep the charge date and amount ready. A ticket-copy request may not cover each extra.

Keep hotel charges apart from flight costs. A hotel folio and a payment receipt may explain different parts of the same stay.

How to save a PDF on a computer or phone

  1. Step 1: Open the full receipt, not just a list of trips.
  2. Step 2: Use the email or browser Print option. On a phone, look in its menu or share sheet.
  3. Step 3: Choose a PDF option if your device offers one. Otherwise, open the email on a computer.
  4. Step 4: Check every page. Save it with a name such as 2026-09-22-flight-receipt.pdf.

If the Fly Delta app does not show a receipt control, use the website or email route. This guide does not assume every app version has the same buttons.

What can BuildReceipts help with?

If the official copy is missing, a neat-looking replacement does not solve the proof problem. Ask the seller first. BuildReceipts cannot find a Delta booking or issue proof that Delta took a payment.

For a separate personal summary, use the receipt templates to lay out facts you already know.

  1. Step 1: Choose a layout that fits your own record.
  2. Step 2: Enter only details you can check.
  3. Step 3: Check each line in the preview.
  4. Step 4: Mark the result as your own custom record.

A custom document is not an official merchant receipt or a valid substitute for proof of purchase. Do not use it as a Delta-issued record for a claim, refund, or expense report.

Final answer

Find the right record before you download anything. Match each paid amount to its receipt, keep any refund beside it, and ask the seller when a record is missing. That gives you a clearer file than one PDF with unexplained totals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have more questions about Delta Receipt: Find Flight, Baggage, and Past Records? Check out these common queries.

Try My Trips for a recent flight. For an older ticket or bag copy, Delta lists an email request route in its past-travel help page. The passenger or cardholder must make the request.
Yes. You can open the Delta website in a phone browser or use the receipt email. If the app has no receipt control, use one of those routes rather than guessing at menu labels.
No. A boarding pass is for travel. It may not show the paid amount or payment details. Ask for the ticket receipt when you need the purchase record.
Ask the agent or booking site that sold the ticket for its copy. Keep separate fee records if you paid the airline for extras.
Do not assume it is still in online history. Check your saved email and files, then ask the seller for help. This guide cannot promise that an older copy can be recovered.
Check each charge. A ticket receipt may not cover all extras. Keep the fee receipt or provider email that explains each amount, without counting the same cost twice.
No. It cannot issue a Delta receipt or proof of payment. Its templates can help lay out a clearly labeled personal record, but that file must not be presented as an official airline document.
