You can find a Taco Bell order in My Orders if you bought it through your signed-in Taco Bell account. In the app, open Profile, then tap My Orders. On the website, open the Profile icon, then choose Orders.
For a drive-thru or counter sale, the paper Taco Bell receipt is the main record. If it is lost, ask the restaurant or Taco Bell support for help. Be ready to share the store, date, time, total, and how you paid. Taco Bell does not offer a public receipt lookup where anyone can type in a card number.
A third-party order is different. If you used DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, or Grubhub, look in that service first. The order record belongs to the service that took your payment.
Where should you look first?
| How you orderedBest place to lookIf it is not there | ||
| Taco Bell app while signed in | Profile > My Orders | Check the email tied to the account |
| TacoBell.com while signed in | Profile icon > Orders | Check email, then contact support |
| Store counter or drive-thru | Original paper receipt | Call the same restaurant |
| In-store kiosk | Email or paper receipt | Check the account used at the kiosk |
| Delivery partner | That partner's order history | Ask the partner's support team |
If your goal is to keep a clean personal record, the Taco Bell receipt tool can make a custom copy of details you already know. It does not pull a sale from Taco Bell. A custom document is not an official Taco Bell receipt, proof of payment, or a valid return record.
How to find a Taco Bell receipt in the app

This route works best when you signed in before you paid. Taco Bell says the app and website use the same account.
Step 1: Open your profile
Open the Taco Bell app. Tap Profile. Make sure you use the same email that was used for the order.
Step 2: Tap My Orders
Choose My Orders. Your past signed-in orders should appear here. Open the order that matches the date and total.
Step 3: Check the order details
Review the store, items, fees, tax, and payment total. Take a screenshot or save the email if you need the record for work.
Step 4: Use Need help? for an order issue
For a Taco Bell app delivery order, Taco Bell says you can open My Orders and tap Need help? after delivery. Guest orders may need the Contact Us form instead.
How to find an order on TacoBell.com
Step 1: Sign in
Go to TacoBell.com and sign in with the account used to buy the food.
Step 2: Open the Profile icon
Select the Profile icon. Then choose Orders.
Step 3: Open the matching order
Match the order by date, store, and total. If the order is missing, search your email for the order confirmation.
Step 4: Contact Taco Bell if the charge is wrong
Use the official support form when an order is missing or the amount does not match. Do not send a full card number. Share only the last four digits if the support form asks for them.
How to scan a Taco Bell receipt for points
Taco Bell lets Rewards members scan the barcode on an eligible counter or drive-thru receipt. The scan is for points. It is not a receipt lookup.
Step 1: Open Rewards
Open the Taco Bell app. Go to the Rewards dashboard.
Step 2: Open the receipt scanner
Tap the barcode scanner button. Allow camera access when the app asks.
Step 3: Scan within five days
Point the camera at the barcode near the bottom of the paper receipt. Taco Bell says the scan must be made within five days of the eligible purchase.
Step 4: Wait for the points
Points can take up to 48 hours to show. Check your Rewards history before you send a support request.
What if the barcode will not scan?
A dark room, a fold, or faded ink can block the scan. Flatten the receipt and use bright, even light. Keep the whole barcode in the camera box.
If that still fails, Taco Bell says you can type the numbers printed under the barcode. Open the scanner and switch to the manual option. Use each receipt only for its own eligible sale.
If there is no barcode, that store may not support loyalty barcodes. Use Taco Bell's Contact Us form for help. A made-up barcode will not link to a real sale.
How to ask for a copy of a store receipt
Taco Bell does not promise that every restaurant can reprint an old receipt. Many stores are run by franchise owners, so the process can differ. Start with the restaurant that made the sale.
Step 1: Gather the sale details
Write down the store address, date, rough time, total, items, and payment type. For a card sale, note the last four digits only. A bank alert can help you find the time and total.
Step 2: Call the same restaurant
Ask if a manager can find the sale or print a copy. Give a short time range. A small range is easier to check than a full day.
Step 3: Use Taco Bell support
If the store cannot help, use the official Contact Us form or call 1-800-TACOBELL during the hours shown on the help site. Explain why you need the record.
If the receipt is gone for good, our lost receipt guide explains what other records may help. A bank statement can show a charge, but it will not list each food item.
What about DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub?
Open the app or site that took the order. Go to its order history, choose the Taco Bell order, and open the receipt or order details. The delivery service may show food, tax, delivery fee, tip, and total as separate lines.
Taco Bell says partner-app orders do not earn Taco Bell points in the same way as orders placed in the Taco Bell app. For a refund or missing item, contact the delivery partner that handled the payment.
What is on a Taco Bell receipt?

| FieldWhy it matters | |
| Store address or number | Shows which restaurant handled the sale |
| Date and time | Helps staff find the transaction |
| Order or check number | Links the paper to the store system |
| Items and changes | Shows what was ordered |
| Subtotal, tax, and total | Explains the final charge |
| Payment type and last digits | Helps match a card sale without sharing full card data |
| Barcode or code | May let an eligible receipt earn Rewards points |
These fields are also useful when you need proof of purchase without the paper receipt. Save the order email with the card charge when the record matters for work.
Order history is not always the same as a receipt
An order page can show what you bought. Rewards history shows points earned or used. A receipt records the sale and payment details. These screens may overlap, but they do not always show the same facts.
For an expense claim, ask what your employer needs. Some teams accept an order email plus a card record. Others need an itemized merchant receipt.
When BuildReceipts can help
BuildReceipts is useful when you need a neat personal copy, a sample layout, or a record made from facts you already have. You can add the store, items, tax, and total, then download the file.
It cannot search Taco Bell's system. It cannot prove that Taco Bell took a payment. Do not use a custom receipt for a return, rewards claim, tax claim, or refund when an official merchant record is required. If you need a general format instead, this guide shows how to make a receipt from real sale details.
Common mistakes to avoid
| MistakeBetter choice | |
| Looking in Taco Bell for a partner-app order | Open the delivery app that took payment |
| Waiting more than five days to scan a barcode | Scan an eligible receipt as soon as you can |
| Sending a full card number to support | Share only the last four digits when asked |
| Treating rewards history as an itemized receipt | Open the order details or merchant email |
| Calling a random restaurant | Contact the store shown on the receipt or charge |
| Using a custom copy as proof of payment | Ask the merchant or payment service for an official record |
Final answer
Start with Profile > My Orders in the Taco Bell app or Profile > Orders on the website. For a paper receipt, call the same restaurant with the date, time, total, and payment clue. For a partner delivery, use that partner's order history.
Scan an eligible Taco Bell receipt within five days if you want Rewards points. Use the number under the barcode when the camera cannot read it. If the barcode is missing, contact Taco Bell instead of trying to make one.
